Right, decided to change the One for an S, saving money like mad (packed lunches EVERY day from now on).

Can't sell the One till November (bought it through a BMW employee and you're not allow to sell for 11 months)so when will I need to order the S if I want delivery Nov/Dec 2003??

How long did you lucky new S owners wait from ordering?

Put my deposit down December 23, 2002.
Should be here about May 11, 2003.

Waiting ever so patiently for it.

I'm about to order mine this weekend and my local dealer (Leicester) says it will be ready for the new number plate on September 1st....so 6 months, but you can get it faster depending on where abouts you in the country

I was lucky, placed deposit on Wednesday 5th of March, pick it up Friday 14th of March.

Cannot wait!

Spoke to a dealer today:

deposit placed this weekend,
(car to my spec)

Delivery middle of May

I was lucky as well! Paid deposit FEB 27. Picked her up MAR 1. Here's the story: someone backed out of his MCS order which, coincidentally, were the same specs I was in the process of ordering.

Just ask for the car to be delivered when it suits you. I ordered mine in Oct and wanted it in April, not a problem, a good dealer will help here.

Paid the deposit last thursday and we collect the new S tommorow from the dealer! Cancelation on a order (kinda cheating!) and the exact spec we wanted (spooky I know)
