Is it not £14600 now after the £100 increase?

That's the on the road price, i.e. all taxes, delivery etc included.

A base Cooper is £11700 and a base ONE is £10400 - I think.

The prices in USA and Germany are quite similar since we have the Euro which is nearly equal (from the numerical value point of view ) to the Dollar.

16.400 Euros for a Cooper
19.800 Euros for a Cooper S

Interesting, that other cars are priced very differently. The Subaru WRX which seems to be a competitor for the MCS in the US costs nearly 10 grand (50 percent!) more here!

10 points to the man for spoting my mistake. if my conversions are right it still looks like this country pays a bit more for the car is it down to tax? not that it really matters as it is a great car.

For a base Cooper in Australia its $32650 and for a base Cooper S its $39900. In both cases add to that about 10% tax and $1800 dealer delivery charges.

New Zealand Australian Prices

A basic MCS here is 43-44k Aussie Dolars on the road. Most people end up closer to 50k by the time they lob a few options on. We do have a fairly high level of standard equipment here though.

To give you and idea of relativity, a Subaru WRX on the road is about $42k
