Hello from the Jersey Shore! I too ordered my MCS from Princeton. As to date, I'm scheduled for April's allotment with a June delivery..hopefully... Anyway, not really much to say about Princeton..have not had much dealings with them. My salesman was Giovanni...nice person and knowledgible about all facets of the car. I did hear from another owner that they tend to be pricey as far as parts. I have purchased somethings from Peabody MINI in Mass. They were very helpful and are really into the MINI! What are your impresions and where are you located?
Hello from Northeast, NJ. Bought my MCS at Prestige MINI in Mahwah. Dealings with them have been superb so far. Very knowledgeable and excellent service.
Welcome to the fold.
Hi. My PW/B arrived last November. I too ordered from Princeton BMW. My experience with them was great. Have not had the Mini in for servicing, so I cannot comment on that too much. But, a couple times I had questions for the techs and had to wait for quite some time before someone finally picked up the phone. It's a smallie - I enjoy my Mini so much that I can overlook things like that.
I just ordered my S from Princeton so I'm waiting till July for delivery. I live in Piscataway (near New Brunswick). you can count on seeing my mini down the shore after I get it (I frequent the beach often).
ram_one, love the superlights. I think those wheels look good on any car, but especially the Mini.
There is a New Jersey Mini Owners Club - Debbie from Princeton is very involved in it - has been in existence for many years, and has a lot of classic Mini owners. They have a web site on the Hemmings Motor News website. Best, check in with Debbie on that!
Just received my MCS from Morristown Mini a week ago, great dealership and no problems whatsoever to report. Ask for John or Ben. They also have several in stock if you want a fully loaded one. Hope this helps.
Re: Looking for other NJ MCS owners (or future owners)
Does Princeton Mini have many S models in stock? What kind of delivery times are they giving for ordered vehicles?
I'm about 70 miles from there, in Salem County, but the nearest dealer to me has almost nothing in stock, and they're giving delivery times of 7 to 10 months.
Jim MINI dealers too far away with too few cars. Bought a 2003 SVT Lightning instead. Also driving a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac 4x4.
Princeton really has none "in stock" they just do orders and I guess they sell their 'demo' models, but that wasn't for me. I wanted exactly what I wanted so I ordered my custom spec.
I'm not in NJ, but I crossed through the state to get my MINI. I picked up my MCS from Habberstad MINI on Long Island, NY. Great service, paid MSRP, and they had exactly what I wanted in stock!
7?? when did you place your order? I got in the end of the allotment for "june production", for which the cutoff was last week. I was told the order gets placed and I will get a production number by 4/30. thenI could track it in the owners lounge on miniusa.com. the car would be built in June and delivered mid-late July.
What did they tell you?
I'm tempted to see if any of these dealers that have "cars in stock" have what I want.
Hmmmmmmm.........something does not sound right about the dates. I was told that I would be in the April allotment and can expect a MID-June delivery.....nothing was mentioned about "July".
