Car runs fine until I get to about 6000rpm then the eml light comes on and engine light and goes in to limp mode so I have to turn engine off and back on to get it out of limp mode but engine management light stays on for a bit no read any code yet
Will a cheap elm327 odb2 key be sufficient?
I have one for my iPhone, it reads the standard items like rpm, consumption,... But i never have seen any failure codes even on my other car.
These cheap units seldom work like Henry says so don't waste your money on them. What Henry has posted is an entry level tool and should do the bare basics but is no means a powerful tool. The more you spend on a reader the better the results and tasks it can perform
