Does this engine sound good to you?

I need to take my R53 to garage to fix the timing chain tensioner, but on close inspection, I hear a strange noise from the engine. To my ear, there are 2 noises, one from the supercharger and other from the upper part of the engine.

Here is the link, engine was already warm, it's not cold start:

Do you have any suggestions? Problem is that this is very exotic car here, and even the dealership don't know much about R53.

In March I had the supercharger serviced, but as I couldn't get supercharger oil I put 5w30 inside, and everything in supercharger looked good (gears), but it did change the sound to what you can hear in the video. I'll change to proper oil and look what's happening inside soon.

But does the other sound from engine sound weird or is it just in my head?

5W/30 not good in supercharger. Takes a thin hydraulic oil. Not cheap but can get online easy.

If you couldn't get the correct oil for the super charger then you should have left it alone until you had the correct oil. Expensive mistake you've made buddy, it sounds shyte!

There were many topics about it and I thought it was safe. Well, I hope it could be saved as I didn't make many kilometers with that oil. If not, it's up for a rebuild

So you think it's too late to save it with just SC oil change? I guess there is no way to be sure until it comes off.

But then what to look for? I don't want to make any more mistakes

Does this engine sound good to you?

Are there any pictures I can reference to about worn gears?

And also, if anybody knows is there anyone doing rebuilds in Austria or somewhere closer?

If not, who is most reliable in UK for it?

Just got an offer from dealership:

Supercharger $3 400
Work $ 270

Ironically, I can get new Eaton M45 but for Mercedes for $370 from a friend.

Hopefully I could save mine.
