2004 MCS (noob question)

I ordered a MCS in March, delivery sometime in September. It's great to be able to pass the time (and finding out lots of useful info) reading this forum. Thanks guys

I was wondering about the 2004 build, which, so I've read begins Sept. Do you reckon it's worth asking the dealer for a later delivery so I get a 2004 model? I was told that I could change my spec up until about a month before the delivery date, so I guess I'd be looking at November (at the earliest). It's a long time to wait, but I'm sure Mini2 will keep me going

On a related note, what's happening with the colours for 2004? Are DS and EB being discontinued? If so, then this could be a big factor in my decision (mine will be DS/B), although Cosmos Black looks pretty damn fine.

There wont be much in the difference, but you might want to hold back four weeks for the changes if you think you'll be bothered by having an 'old' new MINI after a month?

DS and EB are going nowhere.

If you can wait I would definitely recommend waiting for a 2004 model... or at least until they officially release the changes for MY04 to decide...

We could get a MY03 MCS in August, but we decided to wait to get one of the first batch of MY04's...
