Okay boyz. Move over. I'm thinking of "upgrading" to an S. Not for speed but for looks.

Tbh, I don't know a freaking thing about mods. I just want all the comfy stuff, like heated seats and mfsw, sun roof, etc. I'm just a bit PO'd that suddenly there are six or more pepper white/black Minis in my area. I live in a small community. This morning I passed THREE on my way to work!!! Mine is a 2003. Copy cats.

I do not want to be part of the herd. TYVM.

I've always loved the dark silver (DS/DS with tan leather would be cool imo) sooooo.....I'm almost due for a maintenance check and I thought I'd tinker with the idea while I'm at the dealership (they are not close by). With the new job and more deniros, you know. Hehe. Are there any other new colors I should investigate? I know this is a bore to most of you, but I'm a girlie and it matters to me. Okay?

Anyway, how did this thread get off on the path of accounting? Funny, I've just landed a job as Controller for a $10 million and counting catering company. Weehoo. $45K is for the small fries.

You've come to the right place for speccin', Ruthie.

DS does look nice with leather... but there are 3 or 4 new colors coming in Sept...... hmmmm

Oh, and that 45K is in GBP.... so it's circa 82,500 in USD. Medium sized fries, but not super sized.

Bizarre, was just thinking Ruthie hasn't been in the specc'in thread for a while Nice to see you back

well, things to think about, DS is dull and boring, ask Andy

No seriously, it is a bit of a serious colour, and I couldn't picture you with it, could see you with something more fun, but as your wanting sunroof, then really you should have a black roof to hide this as they look a bit odd IMO on a white roof As Jim said there are 3 new colours out from Autumn, there is more info on motoring file about these. Ok so thats the colour info, oh sorry, I could really see you in a more fun combo, say the classis Red/White like Aiden, or perhaps even dare I say it LY/Black, or what a about all over Hyper Blue?

Other things to think about are how long are you planning on keeping the new car, when would delivery time be? As the new models should start showing their faces around about Spet next year, which will probably then make the current car look old and less desirable on the used market. Also worth considering if you would be miffed that you don't have the latest MINI? Or is that just what us boys in the speccin thread worry about?

There are also rumoured to be some ne features to spec from Sept when the new colours come out, so might be worth saving some space in the budget for a few of these.

Hope it helps, and now we just need to see the proposed spec so we can change it

Have fun at the dealership Ruthie

I better get on with some work

Mr Rakey me and my dad did some research on LCDs a few weeks ago, in the end he went for a JVC 26", then last weekend I installed it on the wall and the cables chopped into the wall with a slim wall bracketlooks very good, its got a digital tuner and a few other bits for about £900. Ive got my eye on a pioneer 43" plasmareally tempted but got to get a house to put in first!!

My sister has a 17" philips and we tried that on the wall and to be honest it looks daft like a postage stamp! If your looking a wall mounting it bigger is best!
Its a bit of a drive but John Lewis at Cheadle have a large selection of LCD's and their never knowingly under sold!
