| Forgot this earlier. Make sure you get on the 'list'  that Silverstone have of people with the problem. As of last Friday there was still no official news from Porsche, but there is some talk it is a pressure release valve causing the problem.... I'm sure you will enjoy the Saab courtesy car 2011 CR/B JCW |

I sent an email with the details and got an immediate callback from the service dept. to say I will be added to the list and that they don't know when Porsche will make a pronouncement on the issue, very sorry, thanks very much, have a nice day, watch the door doesn't hit your @rse on the way out, NEXT. |

| I'm in trouble today.........  My dealer just called me to say that he has a Bulletin from BMW confirming that Brushed Aluminium will no longer be available on ANY E90 from Week 43 production.  It looked super........I had ordered the 325i M Sport Pack in Le Mans Blue with Black leather and of course brushed aluminium trim. Now though, seems the standard trim will be Matt Titan, which is basically a matt finish grey plastic trim. I’m thinking I’ll now have to go with Walnut at extra cost, but I’m thinking walnut with black leather might not be for me. I'm not totally keen on wood, but the standard trim, a la 318 is just crappy looking........ So, Im thinking, should I change to Le Mans Blue / Lemon leather / Walnut, or is that too much ? Perhaps Sapphire Black / Lemon Leather / Walnut ?? Or Sparkling Graphite / Lemon Leather Walnut? I suppose I'm wondering whats the ideal interior combo with Le Mans Blue - ideally I'd like to stick with that colour......  I’d be grateful for fast opinions, as I’d like to confirm any change asap, preferably by tomorrow morning, just in case the car might drift through to production all of a sudden. I’m amazed that Brushed Aluminium is gone…….. Missed it by a week....... |

| At least they are consistent. It seems Porsche have advised OPCs that they must provide only Porsche vehicles as courtesy cars - so the Saab's days are numbered. Especially if they offer it to me. Still have to raise the issue I have with the Cayenne - it sounds like a milkfloat first thing in the morning until it warms up (sounds like the start of a Jimmy Tarbuck joke I know  )I'm planning to film it and send them a DVD of it next week so they don't have to keep it overnight just to hear the noise. Why oh why did I change from BMW?  |
