You lot are frightening me off Boxters well anyway............

Oh well, money saved, 335 Ci for me next time.........

Should I get the Works brakes or not? Are they that much better?

I'm thinking of using the brakes cash for holiday spending instead........

I wouldn't drive a MINI without the chassis mods these days.....

The one thing that the Boxster did do for me was made me realise that the standard MINI suspension set up was not so good...the springs and the brakes make the car for me.

Oi pay attention - I love our Boxster S.
I like it so much I wish it had 4 seats so I could use it at the weekend for family stuff.

I'm just a bit embarrased about the "prestige marque" snobbery.

BTW - wrong question
Everyone knows you will get the Works brakes - you should be asking when

PayPal is giving away a Mini Cooper S Convertible and loads of great Creative Zen MP3 players, Sony 32in LCD TVs and Sony DVD Camcorders. For a chance to win, all you need to do is buy an item on eBay.co.uk and pay with PayPal between 20 th March and 17 th April 2006.

I'd probably feel the same if I had braking problems - one of the best bits is the rock solid, v. rapid deceleration

Even before the vibration problems I was not too happy with the brakes on ours. The M3 ones were much better.....

I'm a shy, humble guy too tbh, not sure if I could be seen getting in or out of a Porsche, especially not in a small town like this.......

When then?
