| I just described to Doug what I wanted, finishes, words, pattern design etc, he would then work it up and e-mail me an image. He can also do a sample before the actual knob. Oh and I love it, makes the shift so much nicer |

| My MA is back... Her kid was ill. She confirmed in the computer link to BMW USA that my MINI is April production, BRG (not DS!), and certainly not in transit. Not yet scheduled but I should be able to call back next week to find out which week it'll be built. So back to just waiting rather than waiting and worrying. And speccin. I wonder if I should get a commission from Whalen? On a sad/scary note, Stephanie is taking Lo-size Lily in tomorrow to have a growth removed from her eye (attached to the speculum?); the vet's worried it might be melanoma. Don't really need the bad news as we've had plenty of that around here the last couple of years. Hopefully she'll be alright but it's nervous-making.  |

| Thanks, Puck. We probably won't know more until next week when I'm in Hollywood because the have to send it out for a biopsy. I think your design looks great! I've PM'd Doug W. to see whether I can get a sample DXF file to start from (correct scale, etc.). I'll let you know. |

| I'm currently thinking of something similar to Rakey's design, but wracking my brains to think of a way to avoid just copying (besides just changing the name ). |
