YES finally picked it up yesterday......it was shining like a new blue diamond when I first saw it on the forecourt......and just wanted to get behind the wheel......opened the door and....oh no...wrong interior. Should be blue/black seats and blue carpet but its all black.

The garage, after checking my original order were most apologetic and asked me what I wanted to do. I said that I would like the blue/black seats but could live with the black carpet if they were prepared to throw in some rear clear lights and front spots for my inconvenience, which they agreed. The garage phoned me today to say they were still prepared to offer me the first deal they agreed but would i accept the rear lights and spots and something else as they will have to order a complete new car to swap the seats but would not be until October. I said I would let them Know.

I was wondering if anybody else had the same problem what they would choose to do. Bearing in mind that the garage has given us excellent service from start to finish on the purchase of Peachiz (wife) MINI Cooper and now my MCS including about £100 worth of gifts when collecting mine, which include a 1:18 die cast EB/W Coopers S model for me, a pair of MINI sun glasses for Peachiz, 2 bottles of wine and a MINI bag of goodies( MINI baseball cap, MINI keyring, MINI tie pin, MINI post-it pad and MINI mints). The gifts came before I found out about the interior.

EB/W - CHILLI PK - VIS PK - S/ROOF - MFSW - TRIP - NOW WITH CLEAR REARS - FRONT SPOTS - CD CHANGER - STRIPES - JC SIGNATURES

I assume you have taken the car away? If you have and they now say that they have to give you a new car what happens to the one you have now?

Do you want the blue seats that badly ?, I know they messed up and it isnt really the car you wanted but if it were me I'd get as much freebies as I could instead, how about clear lights, spots, and a set if 17inch R90's !!!... that would do the trick for me !!!... to be honest what else is there that can be fitted in the dealer that you'd want?, I cant think of too many things they'd be likely to give you.... hope it gets sorted quickly !
