France ECU version?

Hi every body,
I wonder the version of the ECU of my MCS. She was built on the 14th week of April.
I think it's the 32 version but I am not shure. What are the big difference between ver 32 and 33 ??
Thank you..

Missed the thread. I think version 33 came out in April followed by the up-dates 33.1 and 33.2 in May respectively June. I reckon you have version 32.2 on yours. Version 33 should take away the 1st gear stumble and surging of the motor ("yo-yo effect") some (maybe many) MCS's seem to suffer from, but opinions are divided if it really helped (most reports say it didn't give any improvement). Recently version CD34 came out, which however only contained changes for the Diesel engine. If you're not suffering the 1st gear stumble or surging problem, I wouldn't bother as you're just fine with 32.2

Over in the States, we only have about 4 weeks in April.

Whoa! A lot of folks say their MCS's never had a stumble until they loaded 33.2. If you're OK with 32 or earlier, stay there! It seems that 33.2 fixed the cold start problem, but introduced the stumble.

At my dealer (in the Netherlands), the Diagnose Computer is updated automatically during the night with the latest SW releases.

V 35 is still the latest and it seems that - for the moment - there is no later SW available.

very "Works".

stumble & yo-yo fix?

I've heard different stories about the new software version regarding the yo-yo. Apparently this next version (36?) will not address the yo-yo. Rumor has it that a yo-yo fix will be out in December. Does anyone have more info?

cheers.

Paul, did you manage to find your notes on how to determine the installed software version ? I would like to find out before I do battle with my dealer again.

Thanks.

Thinking a loud, I bought a Cooper S with the idea of getting away from the daily chores of code and constant fixes and what happens you get a car that needs software fixes !

And they call this progress.
