Got the rest of my chrome grill installed - MINI Cooper Forum

Hi there. I haven't been around much lately. Been too busy driving the Mini!!

Some of you may remember that they forgot to install the bottom piece of the chrome grill on my Mini at the factory. I told the dealer about this and they ordered the part straight away and booked me in.

Well that was on Thursday and here's the difference.

Looks very nice Jebjeb.

Im in the middle of my Chrome Grill Project.
Heres the spare Top Grill I`ve Bought (seperated in pieces by prising clips apart), & Ive ordered Some Chrome "Stick on Strips" off ebay See Them HERE
Should be done in a week hopefully

Looks good, much better now it's a completed job!

I still wonder how it happened. Does a robot install the grill or is it done by hand? Somehow someone or something was lazy and only bothered to do the top section and not bother with the bottom! Oh well, all sorted now.
