United-Kingdom Did you sell your Cooper S?

If you sold your Cooper S, did you find it easy to sell? How many calls did you get? Did you get the right price?

Kind regards

Kinster

I got my dealership to sell my S for me. Initially they were meant to take a £1,000 comission but as it worked out they didn't get any.

Somewhere around the 15k mark is about right.

Most of the money was spent on Fast Cars and Fast Women...the rest I just squandered...

I think you're all very lucky. Here in Aus, even putting 2000k on it results in 20% depreciation Just ask Basil

My car cost £16980 new

Spec:
Dark Silver/White
Chilli Pack
DSC
BOOST
CD Auto
MFSW
Heated Jets/Mirrors
TLC

It was 10 months old with 9,000 miles on the clock. I got £15,500, which was the agreed return that I would get when I placed my order for the new car.

They advertised the car on their courtyard for £16,499 but whilst it for sale Cooper S prices did start to fall. In the end I was quite fortunate to get what I wanted, but you need a bit of luck when you sell a car.

Have a look on www.minicherished.co.uk and Autotrader/Top marque to get an idea of how much your car is worth. Then add a little space for bargaining.

Good Luck.
