Changing colour on order..

just woke up this morning and after seeing the number of DS/B decided to change my order to B/B and add DSC and tinted windows for the same (ish) price - i have ordered the following;

Black with black roof/mirrors
Chilli pack
Auto climate
Pan Sunroof
Black gravity leather
DSC
tinted rear windows
Single CD + boost
CD prep
Heated seats
Visibility pack + heated mirrors
MFSW
+ brilliant silver trim

anything missing???

Our second one (of my fiance), is like that. She added Silver/Grey Union Jack on top and silver bonnet stripes to that list.

You might think of getting the chromed mirror caps (or the whole chrome package) too, looks the dogs d.. on a black/black MCS

thanks - looks good, that is the standard black isnt it?( you cant get the cosmos black in the MCS can you??) not sure about the chrome pack but like the union jack a lot - i cant have it though as i have the sunroof

Yes, Jet Black or Solid Black (indeed you cant get Cosmos Black on an S).

But youre wrong about not be able to have the UJ together with a sunroof. They make the section on the sunroof perforated you know.

Take a look at www.carvogue.co.uk , they are the official supplier of the MINI decalls. You will find a couple of picture inside the galleries of an all black MINI with the silver UJ AND the sunroof

I did the same as I had a DS/B on order for March delivery and looked at changing it to either IB/W or CR/W but over the weekend I saw pictures of MINIMeat's B/W S with White alloys:

I will curse him when I am out in the cold trying to clean the alloys (kidding) but it looks so good...

I like the DS but there are lots in my area (a friend just picked up a Works car with R90 alloys+Aero pack) so I wanted something different.

I have black/black and it looks so cool Great choice.
I have gone for the stealthy option with no stripes and no extra chrome. Black looks even cooler with the R90 wheels

what is your opinion on white versus black mirrors/roof?? i quite like the white roof with the sunroof but not the white wheels - minimeats original pictures with the silver wheels look v nice, although tempted by the black roof with the sunroof friendly union jack ,,,,too many choices, always difficult when you have an order sitting there before build and have to live with it for 2 years....any help appreciated or photos so i can show er in doors (as it will be her car !!)

It might even speed up delivery. I had a DS/B on order for december, I decided to go for CR/W again and took delivery in late July.

I like both, but just fancied all body colour this time. My last S was EB/W. Not much help am I

v nice, cheers, just looks a little more masculine in Black, dont you think? the DS/B looks good but on a gloomy day looks a bit washed out - i hope the Galaxy in the background isnt yours!!! lots of minus points for that ;-)

No I have not got the chrome pack I just have the aero kit side skirts and the R90 wheels.
The galaxy is definately not mine....my other transport is an E46 M3

glad to hear it. I wanted to get an M3 or m5 as the family car but my wife veto'd and wanted a 4x4 (towing horse boxes etc), i narrowly escaped the new Volvo XC90 (very horrid!!) and got the X5 - wish i had waited and got a 2nd hand 4.6 as they have come down in price quite a bit.
seeing your gallery has made me very glad i changed from the DS to black - what does the chrome pack actually add - as there seems to be enought Chrome as it is?? I am also considering the JCW kit, did you look at any others, eg BBR 220?

The chrome pack gives you a chrome grille, boot handle and Mirror covers. I am quite happy with mine as it is.

I looked at the Hartge convesion, but decided to go with the JCW. I know it is expensive but it is BMW approved so you don't loose any warranty. Although some dealers are ok with the other kits.
apparently the BBR conversion is very good.
