we will probably be griping about those 17 year olds charging about in fusion powered minifusionFS. and moaning about the good old days and how a real mini was one that had wheels and didnt fly (25 years from now)!
Hope the MINI isn't made in India or China. The motor industry is expanding into those areas. There was a point brought up today - Land Rover production is at risk, 'cos Ford say the plant is sticking to outdated work practices.
it will probably continue to be some sort of engine/throttle management programming issue. I felt the worst yo-yo experience ever on my way home from work last night
It is a worthy question...I had many reasons for getting the mini. To mention a few: connection to the history of the car, loved my classic minis, wanted to get this body style before they "improved" it any more, and...as it concerns this thread, I thought I should be trying to pick one of my last combustion engine cars while there still is a selection.
I think i know, if we end up doing what every other car site is doing, we would still do the drive around thing, but as well as this, i think we would meet up and rent out places like Santa Pod race way, like what beetle people do, then meet at these places listen to music and drink too much, then do racing down the race way showing off to each other how good our cars are, and just genually enjoying the buzz you get at these places.
Cheers Roman
Ps, I cant wate for this to happen, i went to a VW beetle bash before i bought my beetle, and it was fantastic
