I went with the cargo net instead, and then got the boot mat extension. Same raised circle pattern as the floor & boot mats, and fits nicely over the back seats when folded down. I was also curious as to whether the "boot box" would interfere with the CD changer?
Other posts have said it doesn't fit, if you've the cd changer. Also some have also mentioned that there's a whistle if you have the air con, although I'm not sure how!?!
The interior air exhaust vents are back there and the box covers them. With the vents or aircon on normal (pulling air in from the outside), it creates a postive pressure in the cabin with those exhaust vents blocked off. The whistling is the air finding other ways out.
I found a cheap one at Target for $12. Folds up and works great.
The boot tray is nice. I have that and I'd suggest getting it if you plan on carrying stuff.
