Nope. The S doesn't come with a spare. Instead you get runflat tires.

Noe Spare Blues

I had an unfortunate experence last week of putting a large piece of metal into my runflat tire on my MCS. The gash it put in my tread was about 1 inch long so there was NO preasure possible in the tire. When a runflat is that deflated it is only good for 50miles so it did get me to the next town ,30 miles, but once there I had to call mini roadside service and get towed the 150 mi back to Dallas.Thank goodness I was not in the midlle of nowhere. Add to that the fact that you cannot plug a run flat tire so I had to buy a new one $250.00 from my dealer. I wish they would have found a better place for the battery than in the spare tire compartment!

It's the fashionable twin exhaust that goes where the spare would hang. The battery is where the tools should sit.

Anyway, I totally agree with you, runflats are a pest as they are

a) SO expensive
b) some manufacturers seems to say you shouldn't/can't fix even a small puncture
c) not easy to find in stock
d) not all tyre places can change them

Sorry to hear about your flat. Just out of curiosity, which runflats do you have on the car? Here's a little story for you. Once upon a time.... I had Goodyear all season runflats on my MCS when I bought it. After about 1200 miles I was "lucky" enough to pick up a nail in one of them. I took the wheel to my local Goodyear shop (I hate going to my dealer if at all possible) and they of course told me I needed a new tire. HOWEVER, they told me that the tires had road hazard on them (I did not pay extra for this) and that the tire would be replaced for FREE. Over a certain mileage they begin to pro-rate your replacement cost based on how many miles are on the car up to 12,000 miles I believe. Above that mileage you're stuck paying full price for a new tire. And I lived happily ever after. Just something to think about.
