Short Shift Kits

I would like to get a short shift kit that gives you the same hight as the standard one while reducing the throw. Can any body recommend me one please.

Madness, Alta and other makes the little nub you add to the bottom of the shift arm. This shortens the throw but leaves the stock height.

I went with a ProMINI short shift kit and prefer it over the stock piece. The arm being 3/4" lower ended up working better for me.

Helix SS is the one I will be getting. $45 I think. It's based on the Rogue design.

As a side note, be aware that all cars manufactured after October of 03 have a different shift lever diameter and shift ball/pivot diameter. As a result none of the kits on the market as of today will fit the new design. The above statement about the Helix/Rogue/Mania adapter is correct as it is the only one that leaves the stock lever at the same height, but the lower (BM and Alta) shift knob is nice in my opinion.
