| Chilli pack contains....and i quote... Xenon Headlights Air Con Uprated Stereo 17" Wheels i still think thats a Bargain even if (and im lookin on the pessimistsiisisstic....dark side here) that the stereo upgrade may just be the Boost thingy rather than the HK But heres hoping it is |

| I would have liked to see Fog lights in the pack. Holes in the front bumper don't look good but neither does an approx price for fog lamps of £90. Does anyone know if the dealer fit price would be cheaper than factory fit? |

| Are we sure this is the correct list for UK? Is this definitley the list for the UK? At the weekend my dealer told me it was still not confirmed what would be included. I've also got an S brochure at home and I'm sure (will check later) that manual aircon is std. in the UK. In which case 1500 quid is a rip off. The Chili pack is the sports pack, why include a radio upgrade??? I would have expected to see the following in a Chili pack for the S - Half Leather - 17inch wheels - Fog lights and the other salt bits that apply like footwell lights, passenger hight adjust etc. - DSC The Chili for the std cooper was only £1000 and it included stuff that is std on the S. My dealer also said the options prices for the S will be the same as for the One and Cooper today. I don't have a price list in front of me but if 17inchers are say £500 more than the std 16s then my list above is still only about £1500 quids worth so where's the bargin in that? If it included Xenons then maybe?? My 3rd Mini - Cooper S, Dark Silver/Black. The coolest cars on the planet. Every day is a grin inspired Mini adventure. |

| I am a bit disappointed by the chilli pack for the S

Air Con - £600
17" Wheels - £370
Xenon lights - £350
Upgraded stereo - £135 (Assuming they mean Radio BOOST)
Total £1455 What about Half leather seats? Surely they are included? I am assuming that you get all the little nick knacks such as front fog lamps and the like thrown in. But still, doesn't seem as good a deal as the pack for the Cooper. For a start I didn't particularly want Xenon lights. Not worth the money at £350 if you ask me. I am with Paul, in that it is a shame they haven’t included DSC in the pack. Didn't want it before but have been swayed. LMB |

| I'm not sure we have the proper details for the Chili pack yet. According to Auto Express, it's aircon (manual), 17" wheels, upgraded radio and xenons with "other bits". The other bits are likely to be (and this is just a guess, folks) storage nets, fog lights and interior lights. I've got my fingers crossed for DCS or half-leather, but I'm not holding my breath. I'll probably end up going for it as much to ensure an early car as anything else. Cars which are heavily customer-specced are likely to be at the back of the delivery queue Ordered my "S" August '01. Arrived July '02. EB with white roof, wheels and stripes, Chili pack, DSC and climate control. Hate those 17" runflats though. Can now be seen all over the West Midlands, as a blue blur passing everything at speed |
