Black Cooper S with white roof and wheels - MINI Cooper Forum

Does anyone have any pics of a Black Cooper S with white roof and white 17"s? I have seen about every other colour apart from this!!
I am going to my dealer soon to spec the car and am really stuck on colour. My cooper is cosmos black which I really like but fancy a change of colour. Has anyone seen Dark Silver and Electric Blue in the flesh and what are your opinions on which looks best.

I have seen both Dark Silver and Electric Blue, in the flesh.

The DS looks more "manly" or agressive and those 17" wheels in silver suit it perfectly.

The EB is less "depressing" and more eye-catching and is better suited with white wheels. IMO, the 16" X-lites (in white) look good on only the EB. I have yet to see an EB with 16" white 5-spokes or 17" white or silver S-spokes.

Silver is far too popular nowadays. That's one reason why I chose Chili red.

I'm a bit disappointed that you can't get Cosmos Black on an "S". Looks absolutely top dollar on my Cooper so I'm a bit disappointed I can't get it on the Cooper S.
Anyone know why?

Throws up the old dilema again of what colour to get

Red's my colour choice this week...

Martin, you have a Cooper and you're still getting an 'S'?!!!

I bet you won't touch the Cooper after you get the 'S'.

Errrr...I could only wish. Have to use it as a downpayment for the "S" which is coming hopefully in September.
The Cooper is just to keep me entertained in the meantime, and boy am I glad I made that decision rather than just waiting for the S to arrive

Martin I am in exactly the same boat as you! And it sounds like we have the same Cooper that we will be exchanging!
What sort of offer are you expecting to get for your Cooper?

James, I was told by my BMW dealer that the worst case scenario we would be looking at is £13k in September, they wouldn't guarantee it though.
Mines actually a second hand one (not a reject, checked with the previous owner

), worth £15k new, it's a Jan02 build.
Make of that as you wish, but I don't think it's too bad considering I picked it up for £14k last week. I managed to blag a good discount as I'm a guaranteed S sale.

....hmmm Indi Blue looks like a great colour too, saw one for the first time yesterday and even got a wave!
