United-Kingdom 04 Cooper S swap for Audi TT S-line or 225?

Although i enjoy driving my Feb 04 black Cooper S, i have started to travel between london and somerset more and the mini while fun isnt the most comfortable over longer distances. I have had a TT before and although the drive is a little sanitised, in the real world you can cover ground very quickly particularly in the wet. So if someone has an 02 TTC 225 or S line with lowish miles that fancies swapping for a high spec as new Cooper S then give me a call. Cooper S is a Feb 04, black with white roof, black full leather, climate, Chilli, CD boost, heated seats, Bluetooth, sunroof, DSC,MFSW, visibility pack etc, most kit apart from the Sat nav, cost just over £19,000. It's done 1000 miles.

'02 X5 4.4 Sport, '86 911 3.2 Sport, '04 MCS Black/B/B on order, delivery Jan04

I wish you luck swapping your MCS.

However, if you're fat consider this; the windows in a TT are really small and if you have a crash you will have to wait for a fire engine to get you out!!!

i can see exactly where your coming from. i was stuck between buying a year old tt or new mcs. stuck with the mini as i do very few miles i didnt fancy the tt as there was not as much of a fun factor there and being only 21 i felt a total poser driving round in a tt!! there still brialliant on a long journey though. i especially like the ones with the 18" wheels, are they the sportline? or just the 2002 models?

hope you find a nice motor!

the TT would be worth musc more than yoour mini was new. I was offered over 20k trade in for my 52 225 TT with 20k on the clock.

I think you woulf have to cuck a bit of cash into the deal as well. Not that I am selling just making an observation. Oh and agree re the relative merits, there are few cars on the road better at munching motorways than the TT
