 Convinced the soon-to-be wife!
Hello, old chaps. I have been reading this website fervently for three months, researching everything about the Cooper S. Thank you all for great information, test drives, and photos. I saw my first S (and regular Coopers) in the flesh last night. It was raining and cold, and the dealership was closed, but there were four other people out there looking at them. The car is more gorgeous than I had imagined!
Anyway, I thought my fiancee would kill me any day now if I mentioned the MINI one more time, but after she saw it in person, I had to drag her away from there. She was begging me to buy one!
No one really knows how long the waiting list is and when people will be getting their cars. I want one in spring 2003. Do you all think I need to get on the list now or can I wait six months or so? Now I just have to decide on a color...
Observations:
Electric blue looks incredible in person.
White 16-inch wheels look great, but I'd think they'd get dirty easily.
Leatherette is very nice for a standard item...I may have to rethink my lapis blue leather preference.
I'd replace the steering wheel with a Momo. The standard one is not sporty.  |
