I have had MAXX since May of '02. #504. EB/W. Sport Package is the only factory option, I have added the front fog lights, rear fog lights,Bonnet Stripes, K & N filter and this last fall I applied the British Flag to the roof. 22xxx miles with one problem, frozen shift cables. I have been from Iowa to Florida, New Orleans Cheyenne and Denver and had a ball. Pictures in gallery, Firemanmike

Where are people getting these stripes with John Cooper on them??? Do the stripes come off? Anyone make magnetic stripes? Would like something temp until I can decide what I want permanently..

Any help appreciated!

You get the stripes as usual (either from your dealer or an aftermarket supplier) and then you get the John Cooper signature from the John Cooper garage in the UK.

Thanks for the response I am very pleased with the colour coded "body kit" and stonechips have not been a problem so far thanks to the well done paint job.
Most new cars have painted body parts all over so its no big deal...I just look after it with some paint and polish. I allways put extra polish and paint protection on the places that takes the most beating. Mud flaps also helps.
I got the stripes from the dealer and the signatures from http://new.minimania.com/
Some companies offer magnetic stripes http://www.triple-c.com/Triple_C_Mot...iumph_etc_.cfm http://www.ministripes.com/BMWMINI.html but I have not tested them. Here's my previous ride, a 2.0 GX...
