Supercharger Lube? Timing Belt?

I am very interested in the new BMW Mini-S. It sure seems like a neat little car
that has lots of goodies available for it so the owner can personalize it.

I don't know anyone that owns one,
so I was wondering if someone might have an answer or two for the following.

1.) Does the supercharger have it's own oil supply or does it use engine oil for lubrication?

2.) Is the engine a design with a timing belt or timing chain?
If it's a timing belt, construction and change frequency?

3.) I went to BMW and they were not able to answer the questions above. [sigh]
They told me that all the transmissions are 'sealed' and that I have no need to
change the lubricant. Being a gear-head, I really have problems with that.
I like to change my lubricants. It just makes the machine last that much longer.
Is the Mini-S manual transmission really sealed?

4.) I have 'configured' a car on the miniusa.com website and it gave me a price.
Have people been successful at buying the cars at prices below this?

Thanks for any information that you might be able to provide.

Regards,
Radar

1.) The supercharger is the Eaton M45. It is a sealed unit that should only need it's lubed changed every 100,000 miles or so (correct me if im wrong on this).

That's all I could help you with... Sorry

Timing chain
There is scheduled maintenance for the trans at 50K if I remember right.
An number of folks here have gone with Redline, etc in theirs trans. Yes there are drain/fill plugs.

It has been posted by a few that they've replaced the SC oil after doing some work on the car themselves. Don't remember specifics though, sorry.
