United-Kingdom Advice on buying a new MCS

I am about to order a brand new MCS + Chilli pack and would like some advice regarding the latest model. What does the newer version have that makes it better/distinguishable from the older one. I have read various posts stating that there is an improved supercharger ?. If my order is placed in late june/jully would I be gauranteed the latest (i.e '05) model. What should I confirm with the dealer to ensure i get the latest car ?
Thanks

The motoringfile.com info is mostly spot-on, although the 2005 spec rear lights are still bulbs, not LED.

So in your opinion guys, if i ordered a car in july would it be a new model or would the dealership still be trying to shift the older models, i suppose its something that i need to confirm with the dealer, also is there any change in price ?

Are you in the UK pal?

It's v unlikely to be old stock but you can hedge your bets by asking if you can spec in the Chrono pack or order it in Hyper Blue

The post-facelift cars are about another £500 over the old ones, and some of the options are more expensive.

I think 15180 is the new cooper s pricetag.

The only way you can get a the older model is if you buy second hand. MINI like most other brands, mkae their new cars to customer orders. So if yo uwere to order one, you would be ordering a brand new car that has yet to be built.

Not like other products like saycheap audio equipment that is mass porduced, so there is always stock. There isn't a stock factor with cars IIRC only if either the Dealer orders some and or if a customer backs out on getting their car that has been built and delivered.

Hope that helps
