Is Dark Silver Metalic the same as Gun Metal Grey ?

Just ordered my new cooper s in dark silver metalic under the impression that this is what is commonly called gun metal grey. Is this correct as looking at some pics on the web of the dark silver metalic im not so sure.

I think you can say D/S is a shade lighter than typical gun metal grey (more siliver content).

There is no MINI color called "Gun Metal Grey".

There's Pure Silver which is light and Dark Silver. Both are metallic colors.
