Wheel arch trim

Went to see my new HB/W at the dealers on Friday and even though it was covered in dirt and wax it still looked great apart from the wheel arch trim at the front didn't line up correctly. I thought the bonnet wasn't closed but it was and the plastic trim definitely didn't line up, the part that is attached to the bonnet was lower that the rest of the wing. I pointed it out to the dealer and they said it would be sorted for when I pick it up but I'm still concerned.

Has anyone else has this problem?

After 6 years away back in an S and loving it

They should be able to sort it properly for you.

Mine's a bit off.

So's mine - I've checked other Mini's and it seems to be a bit hit and miss.

A friend of mine had to take his back to dealer a few times below they manged to get it near enough... it does seem a bit odd though that some have problems with panel alignment... just hope mines not too bad.... something to look out for when I go to collect it next month

The actual panels and body seams are aligned nicely. It's just the plastic bits don't want to look perfectly aligned.
The one between the side skirt and the bonnet on mine just slides around a bit. Never stays lined up.

Mine slides around a bit too. Always looks slightly off. Cant say it bothers me too much - if I think of it, I might have the dealer look at it when the car goes in for the aero sideskirts

Some say he loves gaming and that he also loves house work..... All we know is, he's called The ScottyB!

mines off too, but you have to remember that this is a mass produced item, there will be slight variances between cars
