I just signed in on the owners lounge and the status of my cooper s has changed to scheduled for production, last i looked it said on order. Im like a little kid in a candy store . How long after this stage is the car usually ready to go.6-8 weeks maybe.
Paul Mullett took the picture of the sticker from my personal gallery and created the Avatar. Send him a private message and I'm sure he'll help you out also.
Mine was "on order" for several weeks and just yesterday changed to "scheduled for production". I think the question is how long before production does it get scheduled. In my case it was two weeks but suprchrgdmini had his scheduled three weeks before production. It looks like they do production scheduling every few weeks rather than continuously based on a planning horizon. ... or they just update the web site every few weeks!
2007 DS/W MCS LSD, sport suspension, Enkei RPM2 wheels
2002 EB/W MCS Sport package, Rogue intake, Borla exhaust, 15% pulley & Madness sway bar
And no, I dont think it has anything to do with xenon lights as I know of an exact same car going to the exact same dealership thats scheduled for a week earlier.
My status changed from On Order to Scheduled for Production on 4/20/2002. My Build Date is 5/3/2002. So two weeks in advance of the build date is when I got that status upgrade.
So far, no word on either the MINI site, or the WW shipping site about my MINI. Status is still Scheduled for Prodution.
