Best Tire, wheel, and Spring Combination for cooper s Please HELP

Hi,

which tire and wheel combination is best for trackdays?

My idea is 16X7 ROTA with a 215 50 16 Falken Azenis tires

And

FK Lowering Springs?

My concern about springs are minis handling is so good and If I put some after market springs on it ill ruin it so please help should i lower it or not.

Hey kardasim, 16" wheels sound perfect for trackdays. Springs wise, coilover like the FK or Bilstein Street or PSS9 (if funds allow) versions will give lots of adjustability like being able to adjust the ride height and damping properties which are all handy for tracking.

I think many on here would agree that if you just want lowering springs, then the Eibach pro kit is the one to go for.

Hope that helps.

I would instead go for 15 inche tires with as short a profile as you dare. Rubber? Goodyear F1 are the best, if you are poor like me, go for Kumho ECSTA's.
If you want your car to handle you better upgrade your rear sway bar and get you some camber plates up front. Springs? I find H&R ones (ex Tire Rack) more than acceptable, aprticularly if you match them with adjustable Konis.
