Did you specify S-Spokes? Bullets are now automatic with the chilli pack.

Take some pics anyway, dirty or not.

Yes i did ask for them 3 times and they are shown on the order form everytime! The guy who sold me the car has quit his job (so i'm told anyway), so i can't go shouting at him. I've been told as long as i don't scratch the wheels they'll be replaced for me just hope its going to happen by the end of the week. They've said they'll come pick the car up and give me a replacement for the day.

Anyone got any advice on the burning smell? i've just been out for another drive and its didn't smell as strong this time but it was only a 15 min drive.

Congrats to you both!!

I am also getting the bullets, but IMHO they look better in the standard "silver" rather than in white.

Three more days for me!

Enjoy!

Totally agree with that, if i'd asked for bullets i would have had them in the silver but i think the s-spokes look better in the white (how long they'll stay white is another matter) when there on a white roof and bonnet stripes car. If the bullets were silver i would have probably just stuck with them.

Since everyone has ignored the question - I'm told by an MA that the odor is normal (you may even see a bit of smoke) but it will go away as you break in the motor.

Thanks for the reply.

I was going to give it another couple of days to see if it went away, I didn't want to do anymore damage to the car if its a known problem that requires new parts.

It’s not a good smell, the guy filling his car next to mine at the petrol station thought it was going to go up in flames any second. When I got back to the car after paying it smelt even worse so I was rushing to get away from the petrol pumps but I didn't know how to unlock the car!

I thought you'd just press the mini logo again but after a few attempts it wasn't working. So I opened the car by using the key and the alarm went off. I almost had a heartattack! It then took me a few more mins to switch the alarm off. I must have looked like a right fool

The smell will go in a few days time, mines long gone (2 weeks old now )

The MINI logo locks it, the bottom button (padlock symbol) unlocks it, you'll soon get the hang of it

Oh, congratulations too

Well done

Congrats to you both on your new arrivals - you'll have so much fun! Both look amazing.

One question though.....Can you only specify '05 MCS's in Hyper Blue

I didn't see any other Hyper Blue cars at the dealers but thats just because they were all Coopers and Ones. My excuse is its a new colour and all the other cars in my house are silver/gray and i'm getting sick of that colour now and Hyper Blue really stands out.

I'm not washing mine until the dealer changes the alloys, as i know they'll wash it for me when it goes in to have them changed
