I cheated, hehe.. popped to the dealers on the way home from work and took a camera snap of my car
Looks stunning, and its surrounded by about 40 other little beasties all raring to go. I'll make sure I take my proper camera down tomorrow and get a shot of all of them
Ahhhhh - but but but it's not the 1st March yet so it doesn't count!!!! Heehee!
Seriously, the car looks fantastic (even in the dark fuzzy picture! ) so it will look amazing in the daylight! I really am jealous of you 1st March people!
I'm going, I'm going!!
Its AMAZING to drive!! Feels loads livlier than the 04 model I test drove (and no, I've not been above 4500 rpm!) I'm used to driving a Golf Mk4 GTI, and this just handles and corners sooo well.. Its on rails!
I asume its the LSD that DRAGS it round the corners.. if thats it, its brilliant!
Glad I picked the Bullets, they look brill.. not one other CooperS hatch at the dealers had them on I guess you have to read Mini2.com to find out about these things so you can pester the dealer order em
They put the wrong wheels on the car though I’m not a happy bunny! Should have had s-spokes and they gave me bullets. I'm waiting for a call from them to let me know when they can change them so all is not lost I guess. Everything else is there that I ordered thank god.
I've noticed something which other new owners might be able to help me with though. When I went to fill the car up with petrol I could smell a really strong burning smell (no smoke or flames) . This was coming from the exhaust very worried about putting any petrol in it but I filled it up anyway.
Every time I get out of the car I can still smell it. Should this be happening because it’s new and just needs a while to settle down or is it about to blow up on my drive??
I'd post pics but its raining and the car is now covered in dirt ....can't believe how dirty the back window is!
