Aero Side Skirts...

...sorry if this has been asked before (probably has)

Has anyone got the Aero side skirts & kept the original bumpers? I Kinda like the ones I have & don't care much for the aero grills either. Can you buy them seperately? Anyone have any idea how much they are?

I would rather spend the Aero bumper money getting the arches etc colour coded

yes I have them with the standard bumpers, its not uncommon

for more info about body colour or painting the arches, use the search function, there are loads of threads about it

OK cheers, I have been looking at every Mini I see, not seen one on the road yet.

Not having a lot of joy with the search function Keep getting hundreds of threads to wade through! I'll keep trying

searching, if you use the advanced search http://www.mini2.com/forum/search.php, narrow it down a bit to search only exterior forum, words I would use are 'arches body coloured', and you then get fewer threads

I have a HB/B MCS with the aero side skirts fitted and standard bumpers - attached a photo for you!
Really want to have my arches colour coded but it looks like an expensive job to have done properly!

when you get the price, find out how many coats of primer will be used and then if they will rub down inbetween coats

Got a quote today £1100 for the skirts + colour coding the arches & existing bumpers.

Or £1550 for the Aero + Kit fitting + Colour coding.

Saw one they had done recently & it looked like a good job.

Think I will stick with the original bumpers & save £450

(well maybe not save £450 rather only spend £1100!!)

Yes miniboyblue it was the dealer I bought the car from, Elms Mini in Bedford. They have their own bodyshop so don't havta farm it out. They had a demo car with couler coding it looked a spot on job
