 Just Picked up my Cooper S!!!!!!!!!!  THAT FACE EXPLAINS IT ALL. Well chuffed, and then another slice of chuffed! Just drove it back home and loved every minute of it! Was getting pretty sad knowing that me and my beloved Cooper would no longer be attached at the hip. Yet now that my sister is going to have her it's a huge win/win situation! I get to drive an S and i still get to see my original beast every day. Can even take it out for a nostalgic spin if i should feel the urge! So really i guess this is just a big hello to the 'Cooper S' message board!  |

| Hey it's dark! No pics are gonna do my little beast justice at the mo! Anyway i wouldn't feel right if i hadn't done some sort of mod to it before posting a pic  Got to say though anyone got JCW full leather seats? I'm absolutely loving them. Don't know how impressed my family were when i bring home a sparkly new car and continually rant on about how amazing the seats are??? Ah well i love it! |

| Funds came through at little earlier than expected and well............................................ i couldn't wait!!!!!!!!! Managed to get everything sorted out with insurance and what have you and picked her up this evening! Anyway tnoy the sooner it forms another branch of the pw/b army the better  Keep making completely needless journies to the garage for a little peek/ complete inspection of its greatness!! |

| Broken up responses...............................hmm....... .......................yep you guessed it, just made up a completely rubbish excuse to go out just so that i can take the car for a spin to a friends house. I'm a vain man (standard) yet preparing myself has come a distant second to making sure every inch of the car is mint! Really needs a name though...................................... with time, its name will come from within |

| The seats were a good choice. I'm finding the standard seats don't hold me in enough. You almost fall out of them if you take a roundabout quickly. Drove a new Golf GTi the other day and the seats were much better. |

| Yep.. I also had GTI thoughts when I sat in a new GTI (Mini on order at the time) .. esp coming from a Mk4 GTI which I loved a lot! But still, the Mini's seats aren't nasty tartan. I'll never understand why they put that into the new GTI! When I added it all up, a new GTI was gonna be around 5k more expensive than the Mini once I'd replaced the tartan and added Xenons etc. So in that respect, Minis are pretty damn well priced. Loving it. SOOOO glad I didn't bother with the new GTI. Its a brilliant piece of engineering I have to say (and previous 6 cars were VWs which says I love em) Right glad I stuck with the Mini as everything else just looks so damn bland! Have to say, the Mini is probably the only mainstream car at the moment that really shouts some style, has plenty class and gadgets and isn't just a generic lookalike. Nice to see they backed the looks up with amazing chassis and engine too  |

| So roughly speaking Grimbo, you're pretty chuffed! .............................. needless to say i haven't posted for a few days as i have been living in the car!!!! Just came on to order a whole host of Meguiar products so thought i'd pop in, although after closely looking through all the receipts i have discovered that my new beaut has had a lot of money spent on it for a crystal T barrier to protect all the paintwork and colour coded arches, so hopefully it should continually look mint!!!! Also managed a couple of little mods as the PIAA sidelights got switched over along with silvertec indicator bulbs, looks miles better with the pepper white than the orange, and the PIAA's match the Xenons beautifully! Unfortunately dropped one of the original bulbs into the bowels of the old cars body kit gotta get a new one/set hope they are cheap. More full scale modding begins late next week, then hopefully i can put up some pics as i have left my cable in Leeds and i'll be able to pick it up. |
