Space cloth interior - no thanks!

Had ordered my S with standard cloth interior and sat back thinking my spec was final. Went into dealer today and sat in a S with the space cloth interior. Mmm!!

While the front seats look not too bad, the back, being almost all silver space cloth looked a little odd, especially as my car will be red!

Had to revert to cloth/leather combination satellite (black on black) which looks more in keeping with the S. But more money! Arrgh!!!

Any opinions on the satellite cloth/leather combination or standard space cloth?

My final spec as follows:

Cooper S (Aug 02 build)
red with white roof/mirrors
17' alloys
Satellite cloth/leather interior
carpet floor mats
map storage nets
interior lights package
singe CD with radio boost
multi function steering wheel
front fog lamps
heated washer jets
VDO guages
MINI TLC

Personnaly I like the way the space cloth looks.(maybe I'm some sort of freak!) But, I'm also getting a DS S so I think that combo will look nice together. Although I have yet to see it in person.

The space cloth feels like the cheesey seat covers you can buy to cover tattered seats. No one in their right mind would get this stuff as a first choice. They make it from recycled plastic -- junk in, junk out.

I'm getting the space cloth on a Red/White MCS (for the price). I'm having an upholstery guy replace the silver cloth with Red leather that is a good match for the exterior color.
