Brake pads/Service Manual for a Cooper S

Helping a neighbour with their 02 Cooper S.

The inside OS pad has lost all friction material (OEM pad) so replacing with Greenstuff all round.

Help required:-

1. What is the best/cheapest place to get EBC Greenstuffs?
2. Is there a service manual/instruction/guide that I can downlod for changing the pads - looks very different to my Lotus?

okay - pads have been sourced from demon tweaks.

Still need a service manual or guide for changing the pads ... please - is someone able to help???

Have you tried the Bentley manual? They're quite good. Should be available in local book outlets, if not, then online.

I've heard the Greenstuff pads to be inferior to OEM pads in terms of pedal feel and brake performance. There's also an "anti-squeal" kit that they rope you into. I'd go with OEM pads, just my 0.02.

i've got Ebc Green stuff pads and they squeel like hell....this is of course unless i really abuse the brakes until they smoke, then they stop squeeling...
