Another first time poster!

Hi Folks

Got my (Sept 2004) 54 Plate Cooper S Works this week and haven't stopped smiling since. After much lurking I've finally felt "worthy" to sign up.
It's grey with a black roof (like my Rover Mini Cooper used to be in the early 90's!), chili pack, facelift with 210bhp works kit, dealer fit Road Angel. Only 4500 miles on the clock so it's led a very cosseted life (and will continue to do so as it's a 2nd car for me and the family).

Not sure if it has Limited Slip Diff. The seller thought so but I've read this didn't become an option until early 2005. Is there an easy way to tell?

Great site anyway, very useful.. Now off to the ICE section to check on how best to connect my IPod!

Sept 04 build could have LSD, that is the first month it was available I think.

Cool. If that's the case then that's great. It's got the Chili pack so I'm assuming it would have it if it was available then. It certainly seems to get the power down better than any S or 200bhp model I've driven (although this could just be the extra bhp I guess!).

Thanks guys.. Still not got a definitive answer on whether my car has the LSD fitted. Still feels great whether it does or not!
