| cow bell noise coming from rear suspension.... HELP!!!!! My 05 cooper is only 10 months old and as I was driving home on friday I started getting this clanging noise (like a cow bell). When I got home I opened the hatch and pushed down on the car and the noise is still there. I phoned the dealer and they told me to tow it in.  So I get there and I take the SA for a drive and the noise is there, but of course when the service manager takes the car out it won't come back. So they sent me on my way, but of course when I got home it started again, so monday morning I will be calling them and bringing the mini in.I recorded the sound on my cell phone and it is definitly coming from the left rear side near the brake/coil assembly. My mini has only the stock sport suspension. Please I need help!!!!!!!   |
