Easily capable of 20k per annum, i did 25k a year in my MCS and have covered over 12k in 6 months in my GP. No problems at all. So a cooper should be great for it, also better MPG than me i should think and still loads of fun!

I run a cooper S on an 04 plate as my company car - hit 64k this morning - no problems what so ever.

Be prepared to invest in TLC XL pack after the original TLC runs out.

And you may want to consider a car bra ( love the term) - mine is stone chipped quite heavily tbh!

Other than that and you will be fine

That's one thing I found with the MINI... all the stone chips on the bonnet that it is prone to...

Green Cooper

I've had my Mini Cooper for just over 10 months and everything seems to be working fine. Just gone over 20,000 miles. By this time on my previous Mini Cooper I had to have two power steering pumps fitted. I'll be hanging on to mine for a few years yet I hope.

Check the clutch on a car with >40000 on the clock too. They only tend to last 40 to 60k on a town used car.
