Clonking Noise!

Hello all,

This has happened to me twice now, over about a 3 month period. I pull up somewhere, put the handbrake on, take the handbrake off, pull away, and i get a loud 'clonk' a bit of a jult and then everything is normal!?

I've put it down to the brake not releasing properly, and the motion of the wheels turning forces it off? Has anyone come accross this before? It happened yesterday so thought I'd see if anyone can help.

Thanks in advance,

James.

Yep! it has happened to me, but i used to get it every morning!

Since the pads have been replaced it hasnt happened.

I can only say one thing, speak with the main dealer and get them to book it in, it may only need adjusting slightly.

hope this helps

Alex
