Here's my pure silver Cooper - only had it a few weeks & chuffed to bits with my added bonnet stripes & silver checks on the roof . By coincidence, my new neighbour has one too!

Here`s my 51 plate cooper after a 5 hours of buffing and waxing today.Oh dont get to excited that is a lada in the background.

Ive got a pure silver mini too.. just wanted to know.. is there anyway I could somehow get rid of or at least 'hide' some of the chips and scrapes that are on the side of the car?.. They're not major.. but just irritate me!

I was hoping there'd be some sort of magic silver spray thing!

as far as im aware there are two things you can do,

1, get the touch up paint and carefully fill in the marks, mine has been done by the previous owner and you harly see it until youre way close and really looking for it

2, my friend (another Mini2er) has a red mini with a lot of stone chips and he got the bonnet and bumper resprayed for not very much money at all and looks as good as new!

unless somebody else knows of some super dooper thing for them then thats it!

picking my mini on mon. has a panoramic roof, cooper chilli pack. things il change are - 5 spoke alloys to black rims and maybe a chrome grille.

Hi Guys,
Im Jason, Im a newbie here and just bought a 2nd hand Pure Silver Cooper.
I've been after a Mini for ages and finally got one on Saturday.
Its an 03 registered Pure Silver Cooper, Chilli Pack with black roof. 49000 miles FSH and looks and feels (to me anyway) brand new.
No bonnet stripes yet but they are going on as soon as I have the guts to do it myself.
Just wanted to say Hi and thanks to all the messages I have read here which turned me on to the Pure Silver Cooper. I was hung up on getting a Dark Blue with Black roof or an all Black one, so glad I went Silver as I have suddenly noticed how few I see around London and how good it looks with the black roof.

I was exactly the same. I obsessed about getting a black one for ages. After months of looking I came across my silver/black cooper. I do still love the black but the silver with black does look smart when its all polished up with bumper care on the black plastic skirts.
