Nice one. Another Pure Silver owner among us! I agree the black looks great but its the keeping it clean that would annoy me. Silver always looks good and forgiving even if its dirty
Also as Joiner said, once waxed up and the trim blackened it looks awesome!!

Im thinking I need cooper bonnet stripes. Ive seen threads on here that give a few sites but Im wondering if anyone has heard which are best after market ones and what it would cost to get them fitted? (I really dont trust myself to get them perfectly aligned no matter how easy it is)
Id like them to look as if they have been there for the duration. I think its all I need to finish it off, except some nice chromed bits here and there like side repeaters

Hey all
I havent posted much on here in a while but a small update...

I am no longer a pure silver owner!!!!

My baby went in for an R53 Cooper S in Hyper Blue recently after much arguing about getting an S or not I took the plunge.
She is awesome. Am loving it.

Just looked back and saw my old car on the first page!! Good times. I do miss the silver because of how easy it is to keep looking clean and how good it looks in general but the last 3 cars including my Cooper were silver so I didnt really want to get an S in silver, I thought I would try something else

Dont get me wrong, I love my new hyper blue S and it feels great to drive but 2 weeks of having it and it looks filthy time for some waxing!!

Been good seeing the pure silvers on this post. Will never forget my old Cooper! Never know... I might see it make an appearence on this post ha

Just bought this yesterday. Wasn't keen on silver but now I have it I am growing more in favour of it! She is 6 years old bu has only 33k on the clock and is a joy to drive. Hopefully it will stop raining long enough to give it anoother polish....

hi folks heres a few pics of my pure silver cooper its lowered 30mm on eibach springs, goodyear eagle F1 tyres, black grilles, aero side skirts, ecu remap, k&n induction kit, tinted windows, clear side repeaters, chilli pack and alpine head unit with a 12" jbl sub and amp

Loving your car! Especially the S front bumper with aero grill etc, it looks spot on Sounds like you've done some rather tasty mods

Nice spec Your car (Or your wifes should I say) reminds me very much of my Cooper which I had a few years ago..



Sometimes I almost forget I had that car, with it being the most subtle out of all the MINIs I've had.. But sometimes that is no bad thing, and it was an awesome car, great spec and fantastic to drive
