| Engine Noise Hi all, Just joined and this is my first post! We've just bought a 2005 Cooper Chilli pack with 18,000 miles and it's absolutely great. The only thing I've noticed is that the engine is very noisy inside the cabin. It is as if there is a hole in the floor and you can hear more of the engine than usual. Even with the window open, you can hear this constant engine noise from the middle of the car's interior. I drove another Cooper which was an 06 plate and that was no different. Is there generally a lot of engine and gearbox noise on these? I thought it sounded rather agricultural.  |
