 2005 Convertible Top Problem
Okay so after Googling to see if I could find similar top problems, I was referred back here (duh! should have started here), I am back with another issue.
This time it's the convertible top. I already had the passenger side won't let go issue and the dealer fixed it. And broke my driver seat and mis-aligned my rear windows which promptly scratched and caused both front windows to rattle. After several trips back to fix everything (driver's side still rattles but I won't EVER go back to Crevier BMW Mini) I had peace until now.
The sunroof opens perfectly. But I cannot get the top to go down any more. The motor that powers it makes a "REEEEREEEEEREEEEEEERRRRRRRRR" sound and nothing happens. It's like it is trying to go but can't for some reason.
Thoughts? And yeah of course I am out of warranty. Help!
PS: If you ever have Power Steering Pump issues, let me know I have a seriously cheap workaround if you are hands on. |
