Mini Cooper on Japanese Octanes
I will be purchasing a Cooper (used, 2004) and I was wondering about octanes (yes I have searched the forum, but not quite the question and answer I am looking for)
In Japan, regular octane is 90-95 (usually 90-91), High Octane it 96 -100.
However, they don't label the octane levels here, just says regular or high oct.
So I was wondering, since the Mini Cooper requires 91 -93, would be ok to run on the Japanese regular (since it will sometimes be 90)
Also gases prices are pretty crazy here, for those wanting to know. It's about $1.85USD per litre (about $7 USD a gallon) for regular.
