| engine temp i have had my 2002 mini cooper for 6yrs never had any problems, the engine temp gauge always indicates on normal temp as sitting in the middle of the dial, today on my way home from work i noticed that it is now sitting slightly above the mid-way point. i have my mini serviced every year its not due until march. do i need to take it to the garage coolant level is fine, help please |

| The engine cooling fan has 2 speeds, sometimes the lower speed fails and the engine then does not get cooled as it should until the 2nd speed cuts in at a higher temperature. May be worth getting checked, more here: http://www.mini2.com/forum/first-gen...fan-issue.html |
