Mini Cooper 2002.
My key fob was knackered so I bought replacement housing on ebay and simply moved the circuit board and blade across. Upon doing this I tested the key and it seems to lock/unlock the car fine but can't fire the engine. I assume the immobiliser in the car is rejecting the key?
I tried the reset method of putting the key in ignition - hold unlock - press lock three times - let go of unlock but this does nothing at all (the doors do not lock and unlock). What else can I try?
Thanks
