United-States Strut problem?

Hello all, I am new here but have been browsing the forums for a few weeks. You all seem like good people, so I need some help from you guys!
I drove to work yesterday morning and my MINI was working fine. Start up and start to leave work at the end of the day, stop at a stop light, go at green and i start to hear some screeching from my left wheel well. Pull over and it stops (lucky I live roughly 2 miles from my home) I start to drive again and make a right and it starts up again but get even louder. Start to hear a little rattling, but only from the left wheel well. Now it is only making a small screech over bumps and when I make right turns.

Anyone know what could possibly be making this problem?
I'm thinking brakes, struts, or suspension.
Any help would be great!

i had what sounds fairly similar to this definitely with it happening when turning right , it was the brake disk rubbing on the metal shield on the inside of the disk, took me a while to find it, as from the top it looked like there was plenty of clearance, but when i looked from underneath it was clear it was too close at the bottom, it just needed pushing clear and it's not cause a problem since
