Memory Options Hi all I was at my local dealers yesterday getting a software upgrade and also some of the the memory options changed. I have a printed list of what is able to done on my car. There is one maybe two there that I dont know what they do and neither did the dealer, we were running short on time so didn't get a chance to chase it up any further. There are 5 Central Locking options all up. The ones we aren't sure of are as follows: Selective central Locking (factory def is n/a, set to n/a) active not active Selective CL RC (factory def is active, set to active) active not active Dealer seems to think that one of then is for unlocking drivers with one press of key, passenger on 2nd press, which is how mine is currently setup. Were not sure which one that actually is and what the other one does at all ? They were closed and I had to go so didn't have an opportunity to experiment with it. Any ideas ??

yes since found out the CL RC is in fact remote control and being active requires 2 presses to open both doors. Now I need to know what the other one does, maybe the same thing for the console switch ?? seems a bit silly to have to operate it twice if your actually sitting in the car ? anyone ?

The printout of the memory option should be broken down by category, with each option listed under the category heading. Something like Doors, windows/sunroof, units of measure, etc. Which category on the print out is "Selective central Locking (factory def is n/a, set to n/a) active not active " under? If it is under the windows/sunroof category it is the option to open the windows/sunroof by holding up the central locking button.

Re: Memory Options My guess. Top one is turn key in lock once to unlock just drivers door, unlock via the lock again to unlock passenger door. Bottom one is unlock drivers dooe with one press of the remote, two presses ulock both doors. The setting for key in lock and key buttons can be different for things like comfort opening/closing, so I do not see why there wont be two setting for selective central locking too. One for 'key in the door' and one for 'remote control'.
