Talking Coming early (!)

Just got my postcard to say that my MINI has gone into build! I didn't expect it to go into build til next week. Does anyone know roughly how long it takes to get to the showroom from start of build? Originally I was told about 3 weeks - can it be anyh quicker?

Its been a hard 7 weeks but finally light at the end of the tunnel. Just need to decide what my first 6 cd's will be to fill my auto changer!

Supersonic, I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm too much, but it appears my postcard got sent out quite a while before mine was built. My Cooper was built a couple of weeks ago, but I got my card in the first week of Feb. I asked the dealer and he said they are often sent out early. Hope in your case it is right!

Anybode else have any comments on this? Was your card sent early or was it sent around the build date? Interesting to see what the score is.

My Indi Blue Cooper will be in my possession as of 12.00pm tomorrow...

Andy

Eh? Postcards?

Ordered my Cooper in January. It arrived on Wednesday. Never got any sort of postcard with a build date, just a call from my dealer to say it was ready to collect (two weeks later than he originally predicted!).

I got a postcard saying that my MINI had gone into build - I think I get another one once it complete and on the way to dealer. I thought everyone got this????

Is the new leather perforated steering wheel standard now with chilli pack?? I have seen some pics - looks cool!

Yes, its now standard in the Chili pack, or if you just order the leather steering wheel option!

It doesn't take long to get your car after the build week
You do need to keep pushing your dealer though
Once it's at the distribution centre it's then in the dealers hands to get it down to them and prepared for you.
If you push them this can take as little as 7 days after the car is built
It obviously does depends if your car is built during the week, but your dealer can check this all.

Good luck

MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime
